Overview

Whose Line Is It Anyway? is an episode of the Happy Tree Friends internet series, the fifteenth of the first season. This episode introduces Russell, a pirate sea otter whose vocabulary only consists of "Yarr!" and who has a love for shellfish.

Plot[]

The episode begins with a turquoise pirate sea otter named Russell fishing on a pier while enjoying a bucket full of mussels and clams. Unbeknownst to him, inside the bucket is a pufferfish. After Russell devours a clam happily, he unknowingly picks up the puffer fish. Moments later, his fishing line begins unreeling, meaning that he has caught a fish. Delighted upon noticing this, Russell swallows the puffer fish and begins reeling in his catch.

Suddenly, the puffer fish puffs up in Russell's throat, cutting off his air. Not long after that, his fishing rod breaks apart. He attempts to reel in his catch by pulling the line, but the wire is so sharp that it cuts off both of his hands. Still determined, Russell grabs the fishing line with his teeth. Despite getting a small cut on his upper lip, he manages to reel in his catch with one tug.

Unfortunately, the fish that caught Russell's line was a swordfish. It comes towards him at full speed and impales him through his mouth, killing him instantly. The iris then closes in on his throat, where the puffer fish deflates, letting out a very squeaky "Yarr".
