Take Your Seat is the sixth episode in the HTF Break series.

Plot

In a cinema, where various HTFs are sitting, Flaky arrives, only to find the leftover seat closed. She struggles to open it, and when she finally does, it's revealed that it's in terrible state. She doesn't seem to mind as she seats and briefly shows a smile, but then a spring pops out of the seat, piercing her stomach and taking a part of the intestines. The the seat closes and (possibly) smashes Flaky, only leaving her arms on the arm resters on the seat.

Then a sign pops up with the HTF Break logo, but with break crossed and with the words "is dead!" written on its place.

Deaths

• Flaky gets crushed by the seat.

Goofs

• When the spring goes through Flaky, Mime's buckteeth are missing.

Fan Controversy

After the episode was released, the whole Happy Tree Friends fanbase reacted negatively to the episode, with some saying that they are unsure whether the show would be cancelled or only the Breaks will be cancelled. Due to the fact that this video was presumely animated years ago and the sign that says "Happy Tree Friends is DEAD", the 'joke', made a huge amount of dislikes. No word has been made from Mondo Media about the video as of this time.

It would seem unlikely that the series would be ending as the previous short, Happy New Year, called for new episodes. This is most likely just a message that the series is on hiatus (explained by the hiatus of regular episodes since See You Later, Elevator). In other words, the show may just be taking a break, meaning that there will be new episodes coming.

But a new series created by Mondo Media in conjuction with Six Point Harness called Dick Figures, become as popular as Happy tree Friends since the season finale of Dick Figures and Happy Tree Friends's long and still continuing hiatus.

Trivia

• The sign appearing in the end has raised major debate over if it calls dead on the HTF series or if it's just a prank by Mondo Media and maybe its the Break that is dead (no more HTF Break).
• This video is presumed to have been animated years ago, as shown by the animation style.
• The blue cat character in the background video is called, FatKat.
• Truffles makes an appearance in the eleventh second, right behind Giggles.
• Flaky's death is similar to Petunia's death in Hello Dolly.
• The sign "Happy Tree Friends is dead" will later be shown again in Moppin Up, Bite Sized and Pop & Corn.
• The characters who appeared in this episode and Happy New Year all died in Happy New Year (except Mime and, debatably, Cuddles).
• Cuddles waves at Flaky when she appeares.
