- The mascot of the animation company FatKat (responsible for animating the Happy Tree Friends TV series), also appropriately named FatKat, makes a cameo appearance in this short. He is drawn in the Happy Tree Friends art style and is seen sitting next to Giggles. This is his only appearance in the series.
- This is one of the few episodes where the number of female characters outnumber the male characters. The others are Stayin' Alive, Ski Ya, Wouldn't Wanna Be Ya!, Royal Flush, and Boo Do You Think You Are?.
- Truffles makes a brief appearance in the eleventh second, right behind Giggles. However, he is not present in the original G4 version.
- The message "Happy Tree Friends is dead" will later be shown again in Moppin Up, Bite Sized, Pop & Corn, and Butter Me Up (in which it is finally erased).
- All of the female characters who appear in this episode die in Happy New Year. Additionally, the two male characters who appear in this episode survive Happy New Year (Debatable).
- The animation style is noticeably different from what was expected, as it appears more fluid.
- If you look closely, you can notice that Giggles and Cuddles have the same screaming animation.
