- This is the second episode to show Petunia's relationship with Handy, the first is in I Nub You. However, it is possible that it was also shown in House Warming, in which Petunia hugs Handy for building her a treehouse.
- This is the first (and only) Love Bites short in which nobody survives.
- This is the only Love Bites short with more than one death.
- The sliced swan ride on the ground looks empty, with no remains shown. It is possible that the couple who rode on that swan ride saved themselves from the sawmill or that the ride was already empty from the start.
- For some reason, Petunia does not jump off the boat when she has the perfect chance. She might have been shocked by the death of Handy though, making her unable to think of doing so.
- This is the second Love Bites episode to star Petunia, the first being I Heart U. Coincidentally, she dies in both of these shorts.
- Despite his low survival rate, this episode marks Handy's first death which does not take place in a regular episode.
- Both Handy and Petunia's deaths are similar to The Mole's death in Don't Yank My Chain, Cuddles' death in Aw, Shucks!, Flaky's death in Mime to Five, and The Mole's death in The Carpal Tunnel of Love. Additionally, Handy and The Mole also star in that episode, but with Handy being able to get away from the saw.
- This is the last Love Bites short so far. It is unknown if there will be any more in the future.
