When I choose mine I think of the creativity the writers put into it, (This makes Fliqpy's hard to choose), the amusement I receive, (I laugh at a lot of Lumpy's kills), what lead to it, the result of the corpse, the tiniest bit of avoidance it could've had, the rarity of the moment, (Characters like Russell and Cub don't kill as often so I enjoy it more when they do), and the relationship between characters that could change due to it.
True. I have 3 of his kills as My favorite but my number 1 one would probably Lumpy in No Time Like The Preesent. It was the most fun situation to out myself in, slicing a head in pieces with the something stuck to your foot.
Also just like how you have to cherish every kill Russell and Cub and Handy get, I cherish every kill a character gets on Lumpy, since it annoys me how Lumpy is killing people 8-26+ times EACH. So every kill on Lumpy means a lot, except when Sniffles and The Mole do it.
The controversy with those two just annoys me cause all of the fans want Fliqpy to win and act like angry babies when he loses. But what I would love is if good Flippy killed Lumpy just one stinking time. Kind of surprising how rarely good Flippy kills
It would. I actually like normal Flippy more than Fliqpy because if he didn't exist then none of what Fliqpy does would even be possible. No one would trust him and he wouldn't kill anywhere near as often as he does. I also agree normal Flippy should get more kills.
Same, I just find it baffling how the character who is literally connected to the psycho killer only has 8 kills.
Almost as baffling as Russell's hook never causing the injury or death of another character. I mean seriously in a show where anyone can die from anything, literally anything, the character carrying a hook everywhere has never accidentally hurt someone with it.
Well actually Russell rarely touches another character so it doesn't surprise me too much. The only times I can think of are when he put his hands in the air next to Disco Bear on the rollercoaster and when he helped push Flaky towards the can of beans. Flippy on the other hand knows about Fliqpy and does what he can to avoid damage whenever he's himself. It actually really pays off for him.
He also helped The Mole up after bumping into him and held hands with Giggles around the burning school. Also, knowing the writers, they could easily make a scenario where Russell accidentally hooks someone. But oh well.
I feel like Russell is that one character that looks potentially dangerous and could be involuntarily destructive that they don't want to use. They made him to be unintentionally nondestructive. Splendid on the other hand is the exact opposite.
Normally whenever there's a character with wasted potential it makes the audience want more episodes from them. I still want just one episode with Cro-Marmot thawing out and interacting with everyone in modern time. Same thing goes for Cub and Russell killing more characters, Giving Shifty or Lifty an episode as individuals. (Maybe one of them dies at the beginning and the other has to cope with everyone else now that they're gone) And someone finally singlehandedly killing Splendid. (His deaths are caused by nine people killing him together along with everyone else and him accidentally killing himself) Overall it's a pretty good strategy by the writers.
Huh never thought of it like that. Though having one of the raccoons survive a whole regular episode as a starring character while the other dies sounds very unlikely. (Yes it happened in a break, but that was only 11 seconds long).
Someone asked Kenn on Twitter if it's possible for Lifty and shifty to survive a starring role, and he responded with "Anything is possible". I hope that means that do indeed survive a starring role, cause they deserve just one.
I wouldn't put Russell up there with characters who suffer to much, yes he suffers but as not as badly as other people. Heck he, Flaky (with Ski Ya a Wouldn't Wanna Be Ya being an exception), and Mime all have it pretty good.
Off the Hook and Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow is why I include Russell. Getting dragged a long way by the eyelid while getting zapped and pulled into things has to hurt. And the other time he's stuck under a semi truck while it's on fire. Not to mention Bottled up Inside.
Mime is the guy who's there for comedic effect. His deaths are often very fast and that's why he doesn't suffer as much. It's like he's got the toon force but it's against him. And then of course there's the Mole who never feels pain and Cro-Marmot who only suffered in Dino-Sore days.
Yah. Pretty much. Oh crap how could I forget Nutty. Sweet Ride, Chew Said a Mouthfull, Icy You, Dunce Upon a Time, A Sucker for Love, All Work and No Play all either tortured him throughout or had him suffer a painful deaths. Though I think it's different with him, most of the time he puts the pain on himself.
The one's I don't really like are cases with the Cursed Idol. Whenever it distorts reality I find it annoying. Like in Idol Curiosity when Sniffles was cut into two haves by a fissure that shouldn't have even got to him, when it pulled him into quicksand, when Petunia's heart and organs pop out of her body on springs. Times where it only jinxes a character like Lumpy and Russell I'm okay with. And of course Class Act because we never got to see the blast or the result of it.
I would've found it a little more satisfying if at the end the Idol fell into the lava. If it were destroyed I would've enjoyed it better. And then there are those deaths we don't get to see which irritates me sometimes.
He is the one who had him in the car so I'd say he's the one responsible for it. Also I'd like to point out in Class Act while no one blames Cuddles for everyone's death, he stood there and blocked the exit which lead to many people's injuries and they probably could've gotten away before Toothy started singing again.
Ok, in Wrath of Con all of the characters who Giggles set on fire are on her kill count, which makes sense since she triggered the events that caused Spelndid to breathe it in. But would you say she killed all of the characters who weren't in the room and were only killed by the explosion, the Mole, Flaky, Cro-Marmot, Pop.
Ok cool. I have down that Giggles and Petunia DIDN'T kill Lumpy in The Wrong Side of the Tracks because they have no control over what the ride does, but I DID put down that they killed Sniffles since the kart stopped at the edge and I think their own weight and movement made it fall, what do you think?
I love reading it (haven't finished though) and have two comments:
I notice you want Disco Bear to succeed with Flaky or Giggles. I'd like to put this out and say that I ship GigglesXDisco Bear hard.
You said Fliqpy's the only character who never kills anyone accidentally. This is wrong for two reason: first, Fliqpy accidently killed Pop and Cub in Flippin' Burgers; two, Mr. Pickels has never accidentally killed anyone.
I'm working on it. Fliqpy never knew Pop and Cub were there but if he did he would've killed Pop anyway. Mr. Pickles is the same way.
Also I think Disco Bear's life would change the most if he got a girl. I also think Change of Heart proves that Giggles and DB have potential to be a couple. Flaky's the only one who's never rejected him so I threw that in there as well even though See What Develops is technically the only interaction they share. Considering Flaky was already dead in Ski Ya Wouldn't Wanna Be Ya.
Pop, yes; Cub, A Vicious Cycle says no. Fliqpy doesn't kill babies. It's against his moral code.
Eeeeeee! I know right? As for FlakyXDisco Bear, I can't take that seriously as a pairing. It's obvious that he is uninterested in her and she is uninterested in him. Plus, looking at the beginning of Ski Ya!, I think that's the closest to hatred Flaky can get.
Yeah. I think Giggles is the most optimistic girl on the show. I also think Fliqpy has some heart in him as seen in Hear Today Gone Tomorrow. But yeah I think the writers give Giggles too many interactions with other guys and not as much time with Disco Bear. My profile will look really good once it's finished.
Oh hey wow, how'd I miss what it's supposed to be my job to catch? Just saw you think Lumpy's smart and Sniffles is dumb, would you be interested in joining Tiny But Mighty (read all about it in the link) or not quite enough?
I think Lumpy is a slow learner but quick problem solver. Sniffles is the exact opposite. As far as the club goes… I'll give it a shot. This is my first time on the wiki in about three months. I suppose a becoming a member of a group is always fun. Only question is am I allowed to contradict anything? And is it about more than just Lumpy and Sniffles? If so I'll join.
I don't necessarily think Sniffles is an idiot. I just think every once in a while he lacks common sense. And I think Lumpy is a little stupid in episodes like Hear Today Gone Tomorrow. I mean if there's truck burning up in front of you aren't you supposed to investigate?
I think Lumpy's smart moments are in We're Scrooged, I Nub You, and By the Seat of Your Pants. Although now that I think of it he has a lot of careers.
Sniffles dumbest moments are with the ants. And the cursed idol.
Ain't nobody denying Lumpy has had his stupid moments. Lumpy's human... well, no, he's a moose but you get the point. Who in HTF or reallife has never done anything stupid.
I'm not sure exactly where you're going with Sniffles but if you're refering to book smarts: math, science, and mechanics. May I just go out and say that I agree, Sniffles is very well-educated. So, if that is what you mean and it disqualifies you than TBM needs a new leader.
As for Sniffles' dumbest moments, Pet Peeve, I've Got You Under My Skin, and Wrath of Con are definitely up there too.
I think one you may be avoiding is Concrete Solution. Sniffles pulls up in the ambulance and avoids the fact that there is a dead person in front of him. Lumpy has his dumb moments but unlike Sniffles they don't always get him killed.
Fliqpy survived the Bomb in Flippin Burgers. Regular Flippy Survived Mouse Ka-boom's explosion. But then there's Class Act. By the Seat of Your Pants may be some sort of super power.
As for Lumpy he doesn't tend to spend any time with girls. He never blushes when they're nice to him. I also think Genie Giggles might be an exception because they were both genies rather than normal tree friends. He had no other genie to love.
His cruel episodes are the ones where he kills someone and tries to hide it. (Concrete Solution) Other episodes where he deserves death are; Every Litter Bit Hurts, Dunce Upon a Time, Don't Yank my Chain, We're Scrooged, Mime to Five, All in Vein and more. But some episodes like Wrong Side of the Tracks, All Flocked Up, From A to Zoo, Tike a Hike etc. He dies while trying to save others. I think he can be generous. He can be a dick sometimes but he almost always dies in those episodes anyway.
First off, this is not an official warning, you are not yet in danger of a ban but I feel it's important to inform you to try not to over-comment on different articles because it's considered Spam. The main reason being is that when us Admins go to the wiki activity to guard the wiki from vandalism, it's harder to find potential vandals if the Activity page is full of comments. Again, you're not in danger but just be careful.
