Happy Tree Friends and Friends was a late-night show on the American cable channel G4 which aired on the Barbed Wire Biscuit block. It ran from August 29th 2005 to May 4th 2006.
History[]
The show featured the characters in a movie theater, watching episodes of Happy Tree Friends and other shorts, along with several bumpers that would play after commercials, which had the Happy Tree Friends & Friends logo appearing at the end. Many of these bumpers would later be repurposed into the Happy Tree Friends is dead! shorts which had the logo changed and replaced. The opening and ending sequences of the block would be used for Happy New Year.
However, two shorts remained lost media for a long time, being found nowhere on Mondo Media's website or from any official source (like Mondo Media's YouTube). The reason for this remains unknown. On October 14th 2021, one user from YouTube uploaded a video - originally sourced from somebody else who recorded the airing from TV and uploaded a five-hour long video onto YouTube - which contained the 2 lost bumpers. The names of the shorts are unknown, but some fans named them Have a Sip and Pain Freeze.
