Fall Out Boy was formed in the year 2001. They started out in the town of Wilmette, Illinois. In their early years, the band had trouble trying to decide what their band name should be. On their list for possible band names, one of the names was Fallout Boy, Radioactive Man's trusty sidekick from the cartoon, The Simpsons. They decided on the name after one of their fans said that the name suits them, and the fact that two of the members, Patrick Stump and Joe Trohman, were "die-hard" Simpsons fans.
Their music video The Carpal Tunnel of Love stars several Happy Tree Friends characters and the plot focused on a love story between Cuddles and Giggles. The clip also includes a cameo by the Fall Out Boy band members. Like the show, all of the characters featured in the music video are killed in an ultra-violent manner (including the Fall Out Boy band members).
