Thanks for everybodys interesting takes on this matter either way. :) /Kenny Navarro (talk)
Since nothing was released on the 20th Anniversary, this thread serves no purpose anymore and will be closed. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
Replying a little bit late to this bump, but I did not expected anything new to come out in 2020. Maybe they will release new stuff in the distant future, but not for the 20th Anniversary. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
If I ever see you necro posting like this again, then you better start excpecting a lenghty block. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
Well, looks like Higurashi defeats HTF 3-2 even if Gustav didn't vote in the actual poll. However, the users which voted for HTF never commented at all instead, but I am gonna close this thread now for inactivity. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
Did you vote in the poll? Because I can currently only see mine and SteveBobMinecraftPants votes on Higurashi. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
Well, opposite to HTF, Higurashi actually has an explonation as of why it happens and opposite to HTF it happens in every arc and not in every episode. An arc contains of several episodes and it's also a horror anime. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
I agree. I think alot of HTF fans might like Higurashi alot. The characters keep dying there too. However, in it they do not all die every episode, but rather every arc. The poll seems a bit broken. It only shows the HTF votes. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
Ah, Higurashi. The HTF of anime. While the nail scene is more gory and drawned out in Tongue in Cheek, I still just have to vote for Higurashi. What happened to Shio was more realistic than to Sniffles and that is my reason why. :) /Kenny Navarro (talk)

However, I think that the chances of a new season will be released is close to non excisting. Still, they had a good run, so if no more episodes will be released, then just be glad for what we got. :) /Kenny Navarro (talk)
HTF has definitely had a good run, and Mondo still acknowledges the show. But since there hasn't been any new episodes since 2016, I think it's the show's final farewell. I wouldn't mind seeing some new merchandise, mainly plushies and figurines.
Well, alot of us back then were convinced that Dream Job would be the final episode, since we did not excpext the Still Alive episodes to be released. Something simular could potencially happen again. It doesn't nessecary have to be five episodes, but rather only be one or two episodes. Who knows? However, I do not excpect any more seasons or movies at this point unfortunatly. Unless they would pull off something extremly unexcpected that is. :) /Kenny Navarro (talk)
Anything may certainly be possible, but definitely don't expect the movie to finally be completed.
Yeah, that is what I wrote. Well, to be fair, we do not even know if any production of the HTF movie even started to begin with. Probably not. Still, as I wrote, I do not think we can excpect the HTF movie or any new seasons. However, something simular to Still Alive could still be happening. Even if it might only be like one or two episodes and not five episodes like last time. We simply just have to wait and see what happens for ourselves. :) /Kenny Navarro (talk)

Still, I hope that everybody had a nice Christmas regardless. With new Happy Tree Friends episodes or not. Also, an early Happy New Year of course. The HTF Wiki will turn twelve next year in fact. :) /Kenny Navarro (talk)

Yeah, this doesn't look promising really. I think the most we might get is a new Still Alive next year if anything. /Kenny Navarro (talk)
