A: Sure
Q: Would you rather live one life that lasts 1000 years, or 10 lives that last 100 years each?
A: The former. If I tell them gently to let me finish my sentences, they'll understand.
Q: Would you rather know the date of your death, or the cause of it?
Yessss
You spend an entire train trip drawing the main characters in a conga line in a small note book page. With the ecxeption of Lammy and Mr Pickels because they weren't created at the time. You finish just in time.
You see a review of a disney movie, then a girl in pink bikini calls herself Giggles and you squeal internally.
Your English improves with it. I learned to translate splendid, giggle, cuddle, lumpy, flip and lift in my moher tongue thanks to this show.
I hope that Lumpy won't make the rest take a backseat. It would be tempting tough. He seems to be the easiest to write for, he is incredibly funny and COULD pull off a whole movie by himself while using the rest as brief plot devices before they get reduced to a bloody mush. I just hope he won't actually do it. He's a great character, but you can't pick only the straight A student while leaving out the rest of the class. Each student is special for something and needs improvment in some areas.
I'm not worried about the gore pacing. At first they can start with minor, yet cringeworthy injuries, then they get progessively worse, then by the climax there will be a bloodbath. I'm kinda worried that there are too many characters. The movie will either have too much going on at once, or at least the half will take a backseat. Or both. We saw what the creators can do with 7-minute episodes. They're really good at building up something and planning the brick jokes. Especially the ones that finish the episodes. I think they'll nail those in the movie. They can pull off the little to no dialogue part too. All of the characters are expressive, even the frozen Cro-Marmot can make you understand what's up with him. I'm sure they can be followed for an hour.
So, yeah. The creators have the material in spades - over 20 characters, giving so many opportunities, and the time it would take to show them what they want, how they feel, how they react to something, etc. All the writers have to do is pick up what works, put it all together (this is the truly difficult part) and they'll have the length. I don't think they'll need to use any kind of padding.
I don't think they'll need a super huge plot. What HTF is good at is turning completely mundane things into the ridiculously gory events we all grew to love. A hotel would be perfectly enough for a movie. Some can work there, the rest can be on a trip together and all can die in many ways.
I hope there will be a movie.

Flaky: Ok.
Giggles: *moves a bit* Ow! Ow! Well?
